OUT n About
ODD JADE was born out of despair but finished in wonder.
*
This chapbook deals with expressions and feelings that are
all related to standing out from the crowd. Knowingly being
a different persona but that she, nevertheless, is courageously
enough to explore her own path and mission in life. In doing
so, she fundamentally needs to stay true to the nature of who
she really is, rather than turning into the version she
believes society wants her to be.
Odes to my Sisterhoods
My first ode spans a whole community, which is the community of *
the Creative Doer, created by Anna Lovind. I would also like to
thank the most beautiful and wonderful creative souls in
there, Shawna Jackson. Pamela Schultz Nybacka.
Isabelle Lemay. This is the safest and most
wonderful and beautiful community
that I have ever encountered. * *
My second ode goes to my sisters in arms
for their endless support and belief in my writing
ability Susanna Zeller, Annelie Ohlson and Lisette Holmkvist.
And for accepting me for who I am with all my flaws and imperfections.
My third ode goes to the teacher of my art class, Emma Philipson but also
the participants Nadia Tolstoy and Velocity Hughes for pulling something
out of me that I never knew existed.
*
This creative journey that I just happened to stumble upon almost
two years ago and that now is my oxygen to this world, would
not be possible without these exquisite female peers.
I owe them my gratitude and respect for their beings
and endless artistic creative flame. *
PART I. ODD JADE INTRODUCTION
ODDITIES oddยทโiยทโty plural oddities| \ หรค-dษ-tฤs \
Soul definition (entry 1 of 1)
1 : a series of unimaginable but rather odd and unlikely series of
events that were created out of nothingness or emptiness, rather.

ODD JADE \ หรคd หjฤd \
ODD JADE is a down-to-earth
kind of a
girl. She is unique in the way she perceives
life, herself in it and the world around her.
She
doesnโt follow any rules and may appear odd
to those who donโt really know her. She is
exceptional in persevering her own style
knowing exactly what she wants in life;
to spend time with her precious
family & to write. That is all
there is to it.
* *
*
*
* *
And she had this
weird
habit of being herself all the
time.
That is why (not) everyone liked her.
She used to wear her oddities like she
carried all the burdens of the world on
her bare shoulders, but these days she,
rather, wears her oddities like she
wears a crown; gracefully and
with dignity.

*
* *
* * *
Instead of being ordinary,
she then became extraordinary
not necessarily because she was
but rather because she grew tired
of exhausting herself constantly
trying to fit in. She turned
into ODD JADE.

* * * *
She does, in fact, belong to another galaxy but,
nevertheless, humanly embodied, full of heart
and soul that macerate her time and again
and yet she is still standing blissfully
in awe of the world and all
its wonders.
*
She is a
mortal being with a soul that
is here, on this Earth, this planet, in
this lifetime, to watch, to learn, to observe,
to grow and expand immensely. She is neither
a human being, nor a sole soul. She is somewhere
and somewhat in between and that is where the
magic happens.
* *
*
*
* *
She is a deep empath,
which has plagued her most of
her life but lately she has rekindled with
her
inner spark and lit that flame, hardly noticeable but
yet vibrating and existing; a flame too wild to untame.
* * *
She is a human being with a deep soul, a thinker, with a
mind that is constantly processing everything she deals
with, not only her own energies but those around her.
It has been consuming her, however, lately, she has
finally learned to use it as a motor to strive for
her soul purpose and sole purpose; to be
able to write and write truthfully
with a full heart and soul.
